The real beauty is that with the canister type, 90 percent of the back and forth movement is done with a power head and wand weighing as little as 4.5 pounds (lighter than an Oreck). The heavy duty SEB236 Power Head is only a touch heavier, but it has a self-propel drive through the brush. It’s a win, win.
